Indigo Blue 1 - Sold Out

This light weight cloth is a dark blue colour and has been dyed with indigo. It is a plain (tabby) weave that is woven from 100% pure new wool. This cloth is similar to traditional Flannel and Kersey cloths (somewhere between the two in fact) and is lightly felted. The cloth weighs approximately 350 grams per square meter or 11 oz per square yardand is 30 inches (76cm) wide.

Because this cloth has been dyed with natural dyes using period techniques the dyeing is not perfectly even. The long image shows a two meter sample of the cloth so you can see the typical variations in the dyeing.
